About this tool
Convert a temperature between the selected scales. Read both the scale and numeric result, since temperature conversion includes an offset as well as a scale factor for some unit pairs.
Calculations and file processing run in this browser tab. The tool does not send working inputs or files to our hosting server.

Features
- Work with Temperature Value.
- From Scale: choose from Celsius (°C); Fahrenheit (°F); Kelvin (K).
- Review Celsius (°C); Fahrenheit (°F); Kelvin (K) in the result breakdown.
Benefits
- Compare temperatures expressed on different scales.
- Check a measurement without mixing Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Who should use this tool?
- Students learning temperature scales.
- People reviewing a temperature specification.
How to use
- Complete the labelled fields for your scenario, including Temperature Value. Use the units shown beside each field.
- Choose From Scale to match the situation you want to check.
- Select Calculate / Run Tool and review Converted Temperature Values and Celsius (°C); Fahrenheit (°F).
- Check the assumptions and limitations below. Adjust a value to compare scenarios, then copy or download the result you need.

| Scenario | Example inputs | Example result |
|---|---|---|
| Normal Body Temp: 37°C → 98.6°F (310.15 K) | Temperature Value: 37From Scale: Celsius (°C) | 37 °C = 98.6 °F = 310.15 K |
| Boiling Point of Water: 212°F → 100°C (373.15 K) | Temperature Value: 212From Scale: Fahrenheit (°F) | 100 °C = 212 °F = 373.15 K |

FAQs
Can I convert temperature by multiplying by one factor only?
Some temperature-scale pairs require an offset as well as multiplication. Use the complete conversion rather than treating temperature like a direct length or mass ratio.
Which inputs do I need for Temperature Converter (Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin & Fever Chart)?
Use Temperature Value; From Scale. The built-in examples show how those fields fit together.
What should I check before using this result?
Absolute zero is -273.15°C (-459.67°F / 0 K). Check the assumptions and output against your intended task before relying on the result.
